Shout Out to Jenn Neff

This week's Shout Out goes to a remarkable daughter of the King....Jenn Neff. Until September, I knew her only as C's mom. I recently learned that she is the president of the PTO (PSO) at A's school. She has been such a blessing to me as I have watched her volunteer countless hours at the school, work as a nurse, mother C, and care for her mother who recently had surgery. She has carried herself with such grace and dedication.

Jenn, thank you so very much for all that you have done and continue to do for my family and the other families at CA. Your time and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. I am so glad that you are now more to me than C's mom. You are a BLESSING!

Shout Out to Ms Becca

This week's Shout Out goes to the one loved by all...Ms Becca.
This is the only photo that I have of Becca. It makes me laugh, and it is a true testament to her adorable personality. It was taken at this year's Outrageous Prom Night (Dress the Decade that You Were Born).

Every now and then, you meet a person and there is an instant sense of connection and teamwork. We have experienced that with many people who have partnered with us in children's ministry over the years. Ms Becca is one who definitely makes that list. Becca's sincere love and concern for the children she encounters is truly inspiring. She has a true gift from God which allows her to connect with them while maintaining control. Scott and I can not even begin to say thank you enough for all that she has done the past few months.

She is loved and respected by the kiddos and parents alike.

We love you Ms Becca. Your love, dedication, talents, and sacrifices don't go unnoticed. Thanks for being one of our partners on this exciting journey.

Shout Out to Stacy G.

This week's shout out goes to the one and only....Stacy G. (without an e).
Sweet Stacy is employed part-time in the Children's Ministry at our church, and week after week, she serves tirelessly. She always acknowledges and greets each child with a smile.
This week, we kicked off a new Sunday morning children's program.
Let's just say that it included a lot of changes, and a lot of EXTRA work for Stacy.
She went above and beyond without hesitation, and Sunday went off without a glitch thanks to her eye for detail.
Stacy, you were a blessing to our family this week...and every week!
We love ya Miss Stacy!

Shout Out to Kristen P.

I was blessed to meet Kristen over 2 years ago when she accepted a position at my chiropractor's office. Kristen had a front row seat during the hardest 3 months of my life. Her beautiful smile, kind words, and grace lifted my burden many days. She always managed to bless me. The past few months, I have watched Kristen respond to devastating news with such courage and faith. God recently blessed Kristen with a new position that will allow her the opportunities that she needs at this stage in her life. She is a true warrior, and I am so very thankful that our paths have crossed. You will never know how much you meant to me during the summer of 2007!
You will be missed!

Shout Out Tuesday

There are so many people in my life who make a giant impact on a daily/weekly basis. People who give their all with little to no thought of themselves. They rarely hear thank you and that what they are doing is making a difference. My desire is to give a shout out to such unsung heroes on this blog. To know this man is to love him. His generous heart for children's ministry is a secret to many if not all. He surprises me often with gigantic bags of candy for the children in our ministry. A few weeks ago, he brought me several Oriental Trading catalogs, and told me to make an order...his treat. His thoughtfulness caught me by surprise and really blessed me.

Here is a photo of my guilt-free shopping spree! What a blessing to our kiddos and their appreciative teacher! Thanks "A"! Your generosity is contagious!
